Over three phases and two summers, the 1954 40,000 square foot St. Mary's parish school located in Ridgefield, Connecticut was completely renovated. This work included, full window replacement, new updated electrical and mechanical systems and all new interior architectural finishes. This K-8 catholic school originally opened in 1954 and closed in the 1970’s; since then, the school had been subdivided and used as a rectory and meeting rooms for after-school and evening religious education classes. In 1997, the school re-opened, and required extensive renovations to meet current educational specifications. The school now features one classroom each for grades K-8, three Early Education classrooms, six religious education rooms, state-of-the-art science and computer facilities, art and music rooms, and a generously sized library. An addition to be constructed in 2003 will house a gymnasium and locker rooms.
