This new 6,000 sf retail store was designed to incorporate two existing buildings, while a third one was demolished in order to make room for the new construction. A variety of rooflines and trim details were used to break down the scale of this large footprint helping the building to fit within the context of the surrounding smaller scaled buildings. DCA worked closely with both the owner and tenant to achieve a design consistent with the image required by the retail chain store.
